Join Uniting Mental Health & Wellbeing as a Casual Administrative Officer supporting headspace and LikeMind centres across Western Sydney. In this flexible and rewarding role, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming space for young people and adults accessing mental health support.
We're looking for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and organised, with strong admin skills and a passion for supporting community wellbeing. Whether you're hoping to gain experience in the mental health or NGO sector, or simply seeking a role that offers variety and purpose, this is a great opportunity to be part of a values-driven team making a real difference.
Any level of experience is considered; however, we are looking for applicants who:
Essential Criteria:
- Are highly organised and able to multi-task.
- Can remain calm and focused in busy environments.
- Are comfortable working in the Mental Health space.
- Have excellent overall computer skills and confident using MS Office applications.
- Flexible approach, including the ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, and have a proactive approach to problem resolution.
Even Better:
- Have experience in a similar role such as a Medical/Mental Health/Youth Service Receptionist/Administrator.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing daily administrative on-site support to staff, private practice and consortium members.
- Answering incoming phone calls and welcoming visitors to site providing high-level customer service support.
- Monitoring email, voicemail and fax inboxes, actioning as appropriate.
- Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments using our Electronic Medical Records System.
Uniting Mental Health & Wellbeing delivers clinical mental health programs across Sydney including the headspace and LikeMind programs.
LikeMind offers support to people aged 18 years through psychological and clinical interventions for people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
headspace focuses on early intervention supporting thousands of young people aged 12 – 25 to access vital support through our headspace centres in communities across Australia with mild to moderate mental health needs.
