About the role
Reporting directly to the State Manager and working closely with Operational leaders across the group of companies, your outstanding interpersonal skills, experience within supply chain and logistics, and genuine desire to understand who we are and what we do will aid you in identifying and creating successful opportunities and establishing effective connections.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a new business pipeline that meets or exceeds the organisation's financial objectives designed for scalability, to grow and adapt to changing business needs.
Cultivate sales strategies and maintain key customer relationships to support retention and long-term growth across new and existing markets
Analyse and evaluate the viability of opportunities to prioritise leads.
Conduct regular market research to assess customer needs, trends, changes within the industry, and the competitive landscape.
Oversee key accounts, ensuring service excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction
Prepare proposals and presentations, and lead commercial contract negotiations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment and delivery capability
Embrace and utilise AI for all of the above
Travelling to meet with key clients and new prospects in person and attending relevant events as required.
About You
5 years experience within the supply chain and logistics field.
Proven track record in generating new business, analysing opportunities, and cultivating relationships with key decision makers.
Ability to manage and grow key customer relationships at senior stakeholder level
A strategic thinker who will develop and implement growth strategies, collaborating with key internal stakeholders to achieve business goals.
A natural negotiator who builds rapport through active listening and emotional intelligence.
Experience with CRM systems and data-driven reporting including AI
