About the role

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at OJ Clinics /Darling Downs Hair Transplant Clinic at Medici Medical Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a weekend position working Friday-Sunday to start with , offering the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar

Handling patient enquiries and providing information about the clinic's services

Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry

Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the medical practice

Ensuring the reception area is well-organized and presentable

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic and an essential part of our patient care team.

The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients, medical staff, and stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills – able to multitask and priorities in a busy environment. Confidence using medical software and technology- Best Practice software. A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient service. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
