This high value venture capital organisation focuses it's investment approach on technology that aims to improve how the world manages its resources. With interests across a range of climate tech businesses, they are innovative, dynamic, and passionate about their mission to ensure long-term sustainable value whilst making a positive impact on the planet.

Reporting the CFO, the Finance Manager leads a small team and is responsible for all accounting and tax matters for the group:

Managing and developing a team of 3

Preparation of financial and management reports for the CEO and CFO complete with commentary and analysis

Financial modelling, forecasting and analysis

Annual budgeting

Oversight of the month-end close process

Ensuring all financial statements and tax returns are completed and lodged on time

Cashflow management

Payroll, AP, and AR management

Essential criteria:

CA/CPA qualified

8 + years experience in Finance & Accounting at Senior Accountant or Finance Manager level

Recent experience in Xero

Strong Excel skills

Knowledge of special purpose financial statements and tax

Highly organised and able to operate across multiple entities
