SAP BODS Principal Data Migration Analyst
5 roles available – hybrid Sydney CBD + WFH (2-3 days in office) – initial 12-month assignment - $900 per day + super

Key accountabilities:
Data Extraction & Analysis:

• Extract data from various source systems
• Conduct data profiling to assess data quality and identify discrepancies or gaps
• Work with business stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and mapping.

Data Transformation:

• Design and implement data transformations using BODS.
• Develop data flows for complex transformations, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency during migration.
• Apply business rules and logic to transform raw data into target format.

Data Loading:

• Develop and execute BODS data jobs to load transformed data into the target system
• Validate data integrity post-migration to ensure successful loading into the target system.

Job Scheduling and Automation:

• Create and schedule BODS jobs for automated data migration processes.
• Ensure jobs run efficiently and within the designated timeline.

Error Handling and Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve issues during the data migration process.
• Perform detailed error analysis and work on debugging BODS jobs and data discrepancies.
• Implement proper logging and monitoring to ensure smooth operation of jobs.

Data Quality Assurance:

• Perform data validation checks, ensuring the data loaded in the target system is accurate, complete, and conforms to business rules.
• Collaborate with QA teams to conduct post-migration testing to confirm data integrity.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, mappings, and job configurations.
• Prepare migration status reports for stakeholders, including metrics on progress, issues, and resolutions.
