Our client is a long-standing and respected leader in education quality assurance and compliance, with decades of experience supporting the AMEP, SEE, and similar large-scale national initiatives. Working closely with government, TAFEs, and community providers, they are regarded as a trusted sector partner and operate in direct competition with other national QA bodies.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Operations Manager to oversee the national delivery, performance, and compliance of major government-funded programs, including the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program. Oversight of AMEP is also anticipated pending contract outcomes.
This is a remote senior leadership role, ideally suited to candidates based in Melbourne (preferred), Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide. The position requires a confident and credible communicator, capable of representing the organisation in high-level discussions with government departments and leading national operational activity with impact.
Who Should Apply
This role is best suited to professionals who have led national or multi-site programs in adult education, preferably within AMEP, SEE, or similar government-funded spaces. You will bring experience at the executive, director, or senior management level, with a background in compliance, strategic operations, or contract governance. This is not a delivery or teaching role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational delivery and compliance for SEE and AMEP (pending)
Engage with senior government stakeholders on policy, reporting, and performance
Manage strategic partnerships with TAFEs, RTOs, and delivery providers
Guide internal and consultant teams to ensure quality and accountability
Monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement across programs
What You’ll Need
Proven senior leadership experience in AMEP, SEE, or large-scale funded programs
Strong working knowledge of government contracts, reporting, and QA frameworks
Confident communicator, capable of influencing at policy and executive level
Qualifications in TESOL, Education, or related field
Cert IV TAE (TAE40110 or later)
Based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide (remote work supported)
The Offer
Salary of $120K–$140K + super (negotiable based on experience)
