ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is an Australian-owned company that specialises in premium lubricants, filtration systems, and fluid handling solutions. Known for their fast turnaround, tailored advice, and long-standing customer relationships, they support clients in transport, heavy equipment, agriculture, civil construction, and industrial services.
They’re now looking to strengthen their Victorian footprint with a dedicated Business Development Manager based in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll be based in Melbourne and spend most of your week in the field visiting clients across the state. Your focus will be on growing existing accounts and winning new business through technical, solution-led selling.
You’ll be meeting with workshop managers, maintenance teams, business owners, and procurement managers to understand their needs and deliver tailored lubrication and filtration solutions.
Responsibilities:
Drive new business across Victoria in transport, equipment, civil, agricultural, and industrial markets
Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular site visits and relationship-building
Recommend and quote on technical solutions related to lubricants, filtration, and fluid-transfer products
Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure fast delivery and strong customer service
Work autonomously to manage your own schedule and pipeline
ABOUT YOU
Background in B2B sales—ideally within industrial consumables, mechanical, automotive, or similar
Confident communicator with the ability to relate to both technical and non-technical clients
Mechanically minded—you understand how equipment works and enjoy problem-solving
Self-motivated and proactive, with a hands-on approach
SARALY AND BENIFITS
BASE $80,000 - $100,000 | Super 11.5% | Car/Car Allowance | Commissions
