My client is a long-standing, global manufacturer of high-performance compressed air systems used across industrial, manufacturing, and engineering environments.

THE ROLE
This is a hands-on sales role focused on driving new business and managing key accounts across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
You’ll be out in the field meeting with manufacturers, workshops, and production managers—helping them choose the right compressed air systems for their needs. Whether it’s a factory upgrade or a full system overhaul, you’ll be their go-to person from first contact to installation.
A typical week might look like this:
Dropping into a client’s factory to review their current setup
Running a site audit and recommending an energy-efficient solution
Quoting out a new system and working with internal engineers to tailor it
Following up leads and locking in deals
Updating your CRM and keeping jobs moving
You’ll have a mix of account management and new business development—plenty of room to build a pipeline while maintaining long-term relationships.
WHAT THEY SELL
You’ll be representing a trusted, premium range of capital equipment, including:
Rotary screw compressors and complete air systems
Dryers, filters, and air treatment components
Energy-efficient control systems and monitoring tools
Custom-engineered solutions for industrial use
This is high-value gear that’s mission-critical for the customer. Service, support, and reliability matter just as much as the product.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who’s confident speaking with operators, engineers, and production teams—and who knows how to uncover pain points and offer practical solutions.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Sales experience in industrial, mechanical, or technical products
A background selling into manufacturing or industrial sectors
A hands-on approach—you’re happy on the road, visiting sites, and building trust
Strong follow-up and attention to detail
A genuine interest in how systems work and how to improve them
You don’t need to be a mechanical engineer, but you do need to be comfortable talking shop with people who are.
SARARY AND BENEFITS
BASE $90,000 - 110,000 + Super + Car Allowance/Car + commission
