About the role

As a qualified mechanic at Pittsworth Fleet Maintenance you’ll be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of heavy vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment. This hands-on role suits a qualified mechanic who takes pride in their work, work area and values being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in heavy vehicles and trailers

Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks

Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and hydraulic system repairs

Complete job cards and reports accurately

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we're looking for

Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or higher)

Proven experience with trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment

HR or HC licence (advantageous)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
