Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic or Trades Assistance required for immediate start.

An opportunity exists at Daryl Dickenson Transport for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic based from our Carole Park Depot.

We specialise in scheduled servicing, repairs & maintenance, on a large range of fleet vehicles including, but not limited to:

Trucks, trailers, utilities, rigids, mobile and fixed plant and much more.

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

Carrying out vehicle servicing & inspections

Ability to diagnose & action mechanical faults

Undertake mechanical repairs

Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and work area

In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

Possess a relevant Australian Trade Certificate

Ability to document, record and track servicing and maintenance of all vehicles

Ability to demonstrate a commitment to OH&S/WHS policies, procedures and regulations and be safety conscious in all aspects of your work

Your own hand tools of trade are essential and reliable transport

Reliable and honest

Great work ethic
