The Role
Driving compliance and enhancements in the management of our operating assets, the Head of Asset Maintenance is responsible for ensuring effective and appropriate utilisation of resources to ensure Reflections Holidays accommodation sites have fully functional and well maintained, building, plant and equipment, and infrastructure to align with industry best practice and legislative compliance.
As Head of Asset Maintenance, you’ll oversee the implementation and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs that ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of Reflections Holidays’ accommodation sites. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external contractors to manage building, plant, and infrastructure upkeep, while ensuring all maintenance activities meet industry standards and legislative requirements. From vegetation management and compliance reporting to supporting capital projects and strategic planning, you'll play a key role in optimising maintenance operations, driving cost-efficiencies, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of our iconic holiday parks.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Possess strong technical knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and best practices, including knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Demonstrate the ability to identify maintenance issues, analyse causes and develop effective solutions
- Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and schedule maintenance tasks effectively
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience, post-qualification
- Valid and unrestricted Australian drivers license
