Our curstomer who is a leading financial Services organsiation is going through a large digital transformation and as of such they are expanding their ITSM team.

With 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home they are now seeking an experienced IT Asset and Configuration Analyst to join the team. This is a critical role where you will intergrate and develope correct processes and procedures inline with industry regulations into the new ITSM tool.

Take ownership of the process and inact real change.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and educate stakeholders on process documentation and best practices in asset and configuration management (SACM).

Execute asset and configuration management activities (including CMDB maintenance) to audit-compliant standards.

Track and manage the IT hardware and software lifecycle using the agreed tools.

Support software license compliance, assist in audits, and coordinate renewals alongside the IT Commercial Manager.

Produce governance reports, including operational and board-level insights.

Identify and implement improvements in processes and data quality.

Escalate risks or compliance concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the wider IT Service Operations team to support ITIL-aligned processes such as Change, Problem, Incident, and Asset Management.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in asset and configuration management within an ITIL-aligned environment.

ITIL Intermediate Certification (or higher) required.

Demonstrated experience managing a CMDB and SACM processes.

Strong understanding of software licensing and compliance (ServiceNow experience highly regarded).

Skills & Attributes

Strong attention to detail with a data-driven mindset.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.

High level of personal accountability and time management.

Ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams
