Alexandrina Council owns and operates one of the largest water retail businesses in the state of South Australia. The Water Entity’s small but dynamic workgroup oversees regional strategic development, capital works programs, maintenance and operations of over ~$100M in water assets. This essential service is governed by strict process and quality requirements to ensure service reliability to approximately 20,000 residents.
The CWMS Maintenance & Operations Team Member position is a full-time opportunity within the Council owned utility, Alexandrina Wastewater. The incumbent will be actively involved in the delivery of all maintenance & operations activities. This includes work on assets related to the Gravity Drainage, Pumping Stations, Rising Main Networks, Wastewater Treatment Facilities & Lagoons, Reuse Systems, Biosolids Dewatering Plant & Vacuum Sewerage Systems.
The incumbent is required to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, contractors, industry experts, regulators, management and customers in a highly technical and professional manner. Stakeholder engagement and people management skills will be critical to the success of this role.
