About the role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team at Wynnum Manly Leagues Club in Brisbane. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced kitchen brigade, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our valued members and guests. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations

Meticulously following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality dish presentation

Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work station

Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and productivity

Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our menu and kitchen operations

What we're looking for

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a busy commercial kitchen

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Passion for food and a keen interest in the latest culinary trends

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
