Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate, schedule, and monitor all inbound and outbound automotive freight to ensure timely and efficient movement.

· Communicate effectively with transport providers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate accurate and on-time deliveries.

· Track shipments and provide regular updates and reporting to key stakeholders.

· Maintain comprehensive records related to freight costs, transport damages, delivery schedules, and performance metrics.

· Proactively identify and resolve issues such as shipment discrepancies, delays, or damages.

· Collaborate with the warehouse and yard teams to verify and report vehicle deliveries.

· Ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and security standards, with a strong focus on managing high-value freight responsibly.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Proven experience in freight coordination, transport, or logistics; experience within the automotive industry is highly regarded.

· Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.

· Solid understanding of freight operations and best practices.

· Previous experience in vehicle logistics or working within a car yard/fleet management environment.

· Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OH&S) standards relevant to transport and logistics.

Accuracy of booking precision and completeness of freight efficiency

Timeliness of Deliveries: efficient on-time inbound and outbound shipments.

Cost Efficiency: Effectiveness in managing freight costs and minimising variances against budget.

Working Conditions:

· Primarily office-based with a yard environment.
