About the role
As the Automotive Dealership Pre-Delivery Department Manager at Jacob Group of Companies, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless preparation and delivery of vehicles to customers. Based in our Wangaratta, VIC 3677 location, this is a full-time position that will see you leading a dedicated team of pre-delivery technicians and detailers and overseeing the entire pre-delivery process.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the pre-delivery inspection and preparation of all vehicles
• Coordinate the work of pre-delivery technicians and detailers to ensure vehicles are delivered to customers on time and in pristine condition
• Liaise with sales and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to uphold high standards of workmanship
• Monitor inventory levels and parts requirements to maintain an efficient pre-delivery operation
• Provide coaching and training to pre-delivery technicians to continuously improve skills and performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant automotive industry regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively coordinate and motivate a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues promptly
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Passion for the automotive industry and providing exceptional customer service
• Experience in an automotive pre-delivery or workshop management role preferred but not essential
