About the role:
This key leadership role reports directly to the Principal Practice Leader and is located within our Therapeutic team in our Bendigo office. This role offers flexibility in hours and is 0.9 FTE (68.4 hours per fortnight).
This position is responsible for providing excellence in clinical leadership across the Safe, Thriving & Connected (STC) program in the DHHS Loddon Area.

This role supports the positive outcomes of STC program by:

  • Provide culturally safe, inclusive, and responsive specialist family violence therapeutic practice.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the practice of a team of specialist practitioners.
  • Leading the community of practice in the development of therapeutic practice and contributing their knowledge toward best practice and innovation.
  • Ensuring data reporting supports and contributes to the ongoing success of the program.

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience in therapeutic and family violence clinical practice.
  • Proven leadership in team and program management.
  • Expertise in feminist and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
  • Experience in clinical supervision, counselling, and group facilitation.
