About the Role:

The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and analysing demand forecasts to meet business needs. This role requires collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to maintain forecast accuracy and ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, business projections, and promotional requirements.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory turnover in collaboration with other teams to minimise excess stock and improve availability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilise forecasting tools and ERP systems to generate reports on demand trends and inventory performance.

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance forecasting accuracy and support efficient inventory management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

· You are already based in Sydney with full Australia working rights

· 5-10 years of experience in demand planning

· Proficiency in ERP systems: experience in enterprise level ERP essential, demand forecasting tools, & Microsoft Excel

· Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail

· Excellent communication & collaboration skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & manage multiple priorities

· Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques & best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing

· Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Analytics or Analytics Engineering
