Social Media Coordinator (Organic)
Practice and Pixels
Posted 8 hours ago
Practice + Pixels is a leading digital marketing agency for accountants, lawyers, and financial planning firms. We specialise in helping growth-focused professional firms build distinctive brands and effective digital marketing strategies for sustainable growth online.
We've got a full-time gig for an organic social media coordinator who's ready to jump aboard our little rocket ship 🚀 in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane!
WHY WORK WITH US
Work with creative people who love a good fist pump - big wins, little wins, we'll take 'em all!
A great Fortitude Valley location with lots of great restaurants, bars and gyms close by.
We encourage a healthy work/life balance (Late nights are for Netflix).
Work from home 2 days a week!
Take your birthday off - Your only job that day is to eat cake!
Freedom Fridays - Every quarter, score a free Friday to do whatever floats your boat - as long as it's not work. Go kite-surfing for all we care. Just keep it work-free!
Plenty of room for growth - if you're ambitious, we love that!
Overall, we’re about effective work, and having fun while we do it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This role is equal parts creative AND strategic. You’ll manage social media content for a mix of B2B brands (ours included), turning ideas into engaging, scroll-stopping posts, and help us keep our clients ahead of the social media game (which is always evolving, ugh!).
Here’s the day-to-day:
Build social calendars for clients (and for us)
Write engaging posts that are on brand and sound like humans, not robots
Work with creative teams to film and edit short-form videos (on trend, real insights)
Schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook (and TikTok occasionally)
Track performance and flag what’s working (and what’s not)
Boost high-performing posts and run simple Meta + LinkedIn ads (we’ll show you the ropes)
Stay across trends and platform updates so we’re always one step ahead (important!)
Set up new client social media accounts
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're creative, clever and obsessed with the internet (in a healthy way). You’re organised without being uptight, and you’re happy chatting strategy one minute and then jumping onto a social media platform to engage audiences the next.
Must-haves:
1+ year experience coordinating and producing social content (agency, freelance or in-house)
Confident writing short-form content in a variety of brand voices
A strong understanding of LinkedIn
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or anything that gets the job done)
Not afraid of the camera, bonus if you’re already posting your own content
A high level of attention to detail and a good head for deadlines
Curious, creative and always keen to learn
Extra points for:
Experience with Meta and LinkedIn Ads Manager
Knowing how to structure content based on platform-specific best practice
A love of B2B brands and a knack for making “boring” things interesting and engaging.
HOW TO APPLY
If you're keen to create social content that actually works for B2B brands, send us:
A short video about you, why you're into social, and what you love about it.
Your resume
Some content examples relevant to B2B
Send your application to [email protected].
