Fabrication & Transport Pty Ltd is a South East QLD based fabrication company - Operating on multiple large construction sites across QLD and NSW. We currently have vacant positions for a team of 2 or 3 working together to service several site locations in the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas. These will include - Pimpama, Tweed Heads, Logan and MT Tamborine.

Job roles will include - Steel cutter and labourer, Secondary welder, Team leader/primary welder. Prior experience in a metal working role is highly regarded. However, on the job training will be provided to all successful candidates. These roles are employee based salary.

Works consists of following engineer drawings to measure, cut, Gas MIG weld and laser level a galvanised RHS steel chassis / housing sub floor. 95% of these jobs will normally be completed within 1 day. Appropriately skilled and trained candidates will also have the opportunity to take on structural steel fabrication and erection in addition to the RHS steel chassis framework.

Yearly incentives and/or bonuses may be actioned - biased on attendance record and total job completion/jobs to days worked conversion rate.

Pay Rates per job role-

#Team leader -
$1200.00 Net (Take home per week) + per job completion bonus + Car & Fuel
Superannuation + paid annual leave + paid sick leave

#Second welder -
$1100.00 Net (Take home per week)
Superannuation + paid annual leave + paid sick leave

#Cutter/Labourer -
$1000.00 Net (Take home per week)
Superannuation + paid annual leave + paid sick leave

Travel to various job sites will be required. Travel beyond 50kms each way will be paid as a per Km incentive.
This job can be challenging physically as it is mostly outdoor work in the sun. - Rain days will result in working at our local workshop or paid day off - pending specific circumstances. *Occasional Saturday work may be required - Bonus rates will apply for these days.* You may be asked to attend a site outside your listed work area.

All equipment and consumables are supplied.
