Senior Steel Revit Drafter / Detailer - Brisbane

You will be joining a leading buildings manufacturer and construction specialist South West of Brisbane.

Your new role

As the Structural Steel Detailer and drafter, you will be working closely with designers, consultant engineers, trades, manufacturing and construction to ensure all structural documentation is fully coordinated and complete when issuing for construction or manufacturing purposes.
Provide accurately dimensioned and detailed structural steelwork; framing, components and assembly documents to facilitate structural fabrication by suppliers, subcontractors & manufacturing, provide structural solutions.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Demonstrated experience in structural, fabrication or production detailing and documentation
  
• Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering desirable
  
• Demonstrated structural drafting expertise for low to mid-rise commercial construction;
• Knowledge of building regulations, construction methods & structural engineering requirements
  
• Demonstrated advanced Revit use and knowledge
• Familiar with light gauge steel framing software;
  
• Positive attitude and able to communicate efficiently
