THE ROLE

From investors to family-owned businesses to entrepreneurs, to SME's and larger companies, this mid-sized Law Firm's Commercial Law Team acts for a wide range of clients.

They service a variety of markets and industries. They deliver large-scale transactional services and strategic advisory work.

They now seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Lawyer who appreciates and understands client needs. The firm encourages lawyers to act as business advisers, addressing specific needs while also integrating with business strategies and objectives.

The role will to an extent be fashioned by your experience and client base, but will require you to be involved in;

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial agreements
• Drafting and negotiating loan and security documents
• Corporate Structuring including high value, complex shareholder and unitholder arrangements
• Asset and Share Sales and Acquisitions
• Joint Ventures
• Corporate Governance
• Merger, sale & purchase of business
• Commercial & Consumer Law
• Brand protection and trade marks
• Data protection and Cybersecurity
• Privacy Law

YOU

You will be a dynamic and motivated individual who is dedicated and focused on their own career progression. A small portable existing client base would be considered favourably. There will also be work to be referred your way to support you in building your practice.

The firm is ideally looking for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel confident in providing sound commercial advice in a professional and reliable manner.
