We're growing—and we’re looking for a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team at our head office in Brendale, QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our business and grow your HR career in a supportive and flexible environment. This role is offered on a part-time basis, ideally across Tuesday to Friday. As the business continues to grow, there may be an opportunity to transition into full-time. We're open to flexibility for the right candidate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on administrative role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive. While recruitment is a key focus during peak periods, you will also support the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to off-boarding, systems management, and general HR administration.
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, take ownership of your work, and can comfortably pivot between tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years' experience in a HR Administration role
Proven ability to coordinate recruitment activities including advertising, interviewing, and candidate selection
Experience preparing and issuing employment documentation
Ability to interpret relevant awards and general understanding of Enterprise Agreements
Previous experience in the construction or building industry is highly desirable
Sound knowledge of HR processes and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are a must
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and support recruitment processes
Prepare and issue employment documentation and contracts
Manage onboarding and off-boarding activities
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and other internal systems
Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle
Coordinate training bookings for site workers and maintain the training register
Ad hoc business administrative tasks as required
