The Opportunity

Reporting to the Diocesan Property Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and management of our Diocesan properties. Your efforts will ensure that our properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and aligned with our mission.

About You

You are an experienced property services professional with expertise in managing building projects and residential properties. Skilled at navigating various working styles and expectations that come with leading a small team.

Highly organised and adept at meeting deadlines, with a keen attention to detail in preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents. You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

You demonstrate initiative in learning, prioritise workloads efficiently, and manage time and resources effectively.

Role Overview

As the Assistant Property Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Diocesan Property Services Manager in overseeing the maintenance and management of its Diocesan properties. Your efforts will ensure that our properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and aligned with our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Diocesan Property Services Manager in budgeting and financial planning for property maintenance.

Assist with the management and maintenance of Diocesan properties.

Oversee internal database management systems for the coordination of its non-commercial building maintenance works.

Coordinate property inspections and oversee repair and renovation projects.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
