We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman to support three hotel properties located in East Melbourne, Carlton, and Forest Hill.

This role involves regular travel between sites, so a valid driver’s license and flexibility are essential. You'll handle general maintenance, repairs, and ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests.

Job Description:

· Perform maintenance duties as required while ensuring economical and safe use of the hotel’s resources

· Maintains facilities in accordance with policies and strives to meet outcome standards related to the condition of the physical environment

· Respects residents’ private property and their right to privacy

· Maintaining fixed assets using appropriate trade skills, tools or outside providers as necessary

· Applies the principles of planned preventative maintenance

· Maintains knowledge and skills in accordance with the required competencies of the position

· Ensuring compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements including appropriate Injury Risk Management

· Experience in a hotel or similar environment is a plus

Key Requirements:

· Trade qualification relevant to the construction and maintenance of buildings and equipment (desirable)

· This role requires regular travel between the properties, as and when required. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential."

· Understanding of current OSH and legal requirements

· Sound experience in building maintenance and related areas

· Ability to prioritise workloads effectively without supervision

· Effective time management and planning skills

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
