Due to significant growth Farm Foods Pty Ltd is seeking an electrician to join our Maintenance Team and assist in supporting our Production team & facility in producing quality product.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Assistant will be required to:

• Perform maintenance activities for the upkeep of plant, equipment, vehicles and offices
• Preventative maintenance on company equipment and infrastructure
• Assist to minimise downtime for production team
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
• Work in unison with Quality Assurance, Logistics and Production teams
• Effectively communicate within a small team

We are looking for somebody who will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proficient level of skills in electrical
• Strong understanding or interest in manufacturing equipment and tools
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Excellent time management
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure to a high standard
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP and OHS requirements preferred but not essential as training is provided.
