Position Overview
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to kick-start your career in finance? Join our friendly and professional team as a Junior Finance & Accounts Officer. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance team while building strong working relationships across the business.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance administration, compliance, and operations — ideal for someone looking to grow and develop in the finance and accounts space.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Help prepare reports, including monthly Board reports.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations.
Support debt collection and follow up on overdue accounts.
Process and reconcile credit card transactions.
Assist with travel expenses, ensuring accurate tracking and budget compliance.
Flag any operations issues and help keep things running smoothly.
Support operational audits and compliance tasks.
Respond to finance-related queries and help resolve issues promptly.
Pitch in with general admin to support the wider team.
What you'll bring:
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles (or relevant studies in progress).
Strong communicator—both written and verbal, and most importantly, friendly!
Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organised with great attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
