Senior Digital Content Strategy Officer

  • Location - Parramatta
  • Employment type - Temporary full-time up to 12 months
  • Grade - Clerk Grade 9/10
  • Salary - $125,693 pa - $138,510 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

As the Senior Digital Content Strategy Officer, you'll lead content strategy and governance across digital platforms, ensuring content is clear, consistent, accessible, and aligned with government standards.

You'll drive the development of governance frameworks, champion inclusive and user-focused experiences, and lead continuous improvement across digital channels. What you'll do

  • Develop and implement user-focused content strategies across internal and external digital platforms
  • Establish content governance processes, including taxonomies, reporting, and quality control
  • Ensure content meets WCAG AA accessibility standards and aligns with the NSW Digital Service Toolkit
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to align content with organisational goals
  • Provide strategic content input for new digital initiatives
  • Conduct content audits and use analytics to identify and act on improvement opportunities
  • Create training materials and support internal content authors

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience leading and creating content strategy in complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of content design, governance, SEO, accessibility and digital best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with WCAG, GIPA Act, State Records Act, and NSW Government digital standards is highly desirable
