About the role

AAEP-WA is seeking a reliable Tradesman Assistant to join our team in Kelmscott, WA 6111. This is a full-time casual role, Monday to Friday, with a 7:00 a.m. start time and a 4:00 p.m. finish. Must be available for immediate start. There is an opportunity to become full-time for the right person. Experience not needed as on-the-job training will be provided.
As a Tradesman Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our skilled tradespeople in completing a variety of tasks across different projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the trades and services industry.

What you'll be doing

Assisting tradespeople with a range of tasks, including preparation work, material handling, and basic installations

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment by tidying up work areas and keeping tools and equipment in good condition

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

Communicating effectively with the team to ensure the smooth completion of projects

Undertaking any other duties as required to support the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

We are looking for a worker who is on time for 7 am starts, Monday-Friday, and is willing to learn.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the wider team
