About the Role
Opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction admin.
You'll support our project managers and admin staff in preparing documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring our projects stay on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and issuing scopes of work and specifications
Help process and track purchase orders
Update construction schedules and workflow trackers
Assisting management in liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes or confirmations
Assisting management to maintain accurate records and project documentation
Learn internal systems
Assisting management with contracts and variations
Assisting management in co-ordinating and maintaining all contract documentation, including progress claims, site instructions, and project correspondence
Assisting management with coordination through the pre-construction process
Keeping clients informed and updated throughout the build process
Assist and support the Estimation department with small project tenders (take offs and cost estimates)
Coordinate daily operations
You’ll ideally have:
Strong written and verbal communication
Familiarity with Excel, Word, and generally good with computer systems
A proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions
Great attitude, reliability, and a sense of pride in your work
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and rise to challenges
A Tech savvy person who learns new systems quickly
Experience in construction admin is essential
