We are currently recruiting on their behalf, with immediate requirements for Arborists and Experienced Tree Workers with MR Licence - in a casual capacity (fulltime hours) with a view to permanency.

These positions require you to work within a highly experienced Arboriculture team, undertaking programmed maintenance and tree management based out of their Kilsyth Depot.

Core responsibilities (role dependant)

Perform tree maintenance/removal using both hand tools and chainsaws.

Pruning trees from both the ground and aerially using an (EWP).

Prune trees safely around powerlines adhering to Cert 2 ESI regulations

Removal of trees using correct work practices and procedures

MR Truck driving

Tree Watering

Groundwork maintenance-Stump grinding, weed management, mulching etc

Chipper Operation

Chainsaw maintenance and pre-operational checks of all equipment

Skills and experience

Cert III in Arboriculture-Essential

White card-Essential

Chainsaw Ticket-Essential

EWP Certificate-Desirable

Traffic Management-Desirable

Cert II ESI-Desirable

MR/HR licence, ESSENTIAL for Tree Workers

Chainsaw licence- highly regarded for Tree Workers

A desire to work in the outdoors

Fit, healthy and work well within a team

Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic

Strong commitment to and working knowledge of safe work practices

Current Victorian Drivers Licence

Any certificates in Horticulture/Arboriculture desirable but not essential
