We have the pleasure to recruit for our client in their Open Space/Parks and Gardens/Trees divisions at the following locations:

Sunshine

Wallan

Ravenhall

Port Melbourne

These current vacancies include:

Tree Labourers/Planters/Chipper Operators with MR Licence

Mower Operators, Turf Curators, Front Deck/Zero Turn and wing mower (4500) mower operators

Chainsaw Operators with MR licence

These positions require you to work within a highly experienced Horticultural and Arboriculture team, maintaining some of Melbourne's most beautiful and highly regarded gardens and parklands. What an incredible opportunity!

Core responsibilities (role dependant)

Perform tree maintenance/removal using both hand tools and chainsaws.

Pruning trees from both the ground and aerially (using an EWP if licenced).

MR Truck driving

Groundwork maintenance-Stump grinding, weed management, mulching etc

Chipper Operation

Chainsaw maintenance and pre-operational checks of all equipment

Herbicide application -

Brush cutting and edging

Skills and experience

Commercial Parks & Gardens & Horticulture experience- Highly Regarded

Knowledge of herbicide application techniques-Highly regarded

Front deck/Zero turn mower or tractor operating experience- ESSENTIAL

Physically Fit, healthy as this role will require you to walk up to 10km a day

A desire to work in the outdoors

Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic

Strong commitment to and working knowledge of safe work practices

Current Victorian Drivers Licence - ESSENTIAL

Working With Childrens Check - ESSENTIAL
