About the role

This is a full-time opportunity to join the team at Mack Fire Solutions pty ltd as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter in Brisbane, QLD 4000. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems for commercial and residential properties. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and protection of buildings and their occupants.

What you'll be doing

Installing, maintaining and repairing fire sprinkler systems according to industry standards and regulations

Conducting inspections, testing and servicing of fire sprinkler systems

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with fire sprinkler equipment

Collaborating with project managers, engineers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation and maintenance work

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and procedures

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Fire Sprinkler fitting

Self starter

Must be able to carry out overtime when required

Extensive experience as a fire sprinkler fitter, with a thorough understanding of fire sprinkler system design, installation and maintenance

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills to quickly identify and resolve issues

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manuals

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Good physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding work

A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
