We have an exciting opportunity for a Portables Technician to join our team of Professionals based at Moorooka on the Magic Mile.

As the Portables Technician you will:

· Service portable & other fire protection equipment on our customer premises and recommend portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards

· Provide excellent customer service and advice to our clients on site

· Use hand and power tools to install and maintain portable fire equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants and other fire protection equipment

Pre-requisites

2 + years’ experience in a Portables Technician role

Must hold a QBCC licence and Cert 2 in Fire Protection (minimum)

Must hold Current QLD Drivers Licence – Class C

The ability to travel to multiple sites in the SEQ region on a daily basis

Self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team

Exceptional customer service skills and customer focus

Professional with adaptable communication skills

Good time management and organizational skills with ability to keep to a calendar schedule

Resourceful and efficient with routine testing and repairs

Must have proficient knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards for testing and installation

Must have proficient reading, writing, digital data and app based skills

Experience with FireMate or Uptick is highly regarded
