About the Role

We need backend engineers to architect the systems that make enterprises truly autonomous. You'll tackle problems that push the boundaries of what's possible:

Instant context streaming - Feed AI agents the exact operational knowledge they need, when they need it

Live operational mapping - Process millions of events to show how work actually flows through organisations

Enterprise-scale infrastructure - Capture and orchestrate every task, decision, and handoff across massive companies

Adaptive systems - Build infrastructure that learns, evolves, and optimises itself without human intervention

What you'll do:

Architect distributed systems that capture and process enterprise operational context in real-time

Build high-performance binaries (C#/Rust) and services that form the backbone of our platform

Design APIs (TypeScript/Python) that deliver perfect context to both AI agents and humans

Implement cloud infrastructure (AWS/Terraform) that scales to enterprise demands

Create data pipelines (Flink/Dagster) processing billions of operational events

Ship production code that directly impacts Fortune 500 operations

What we're looking for:

Experience building distributed systems at scale

Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) and serverless architectures

Track record of shipping production systems handling real-time data

Experience with systems programming (C#, Rust) or backend services (TypeScript, Python)

3+ years at a high-growth startup or tech company

Strong opinions on system design, loosely held

Bonus if you have: AI/ML infrastructure experience, streaming platforms (Flink, Kafka), workflow orchestration (Dagster, Airflow), enterprise software background, or significant open-source contributions

Compensation:

Base salary: $120,000 - $160,000

Substantial equity package - we want you bought in
