About the role

We are seeking passionate and experienced kitchen staff for Chef de Partie role at Hazel Kitchen & Bar, located in Gymea, NSW. Both full-time & casual roles available, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented chefs, contributing to the creation of delicious, high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to exceptional food and service.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Assisting with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and mixing

Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment in the kitchen

Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders

Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations

Participating in menu development and contributing ideas to improve our offerings

What we're looking for

Relevant experience as a Chef de Partie, Cook, or Pastry Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant or hospitality setting

Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, as well as an understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes

Creativity and a willingness to experiment with new ingredients and techniques
