Wondrous Entertainment is a growing group of cafes and restaurants, proudly operating Malika Bakehouse (Surry Hills & Botany), Izgara (Clarence Street), and soon to open Gina (Barangaroo).

We are looking for a talented SOUS CHEF and CHEF DE PARTIE for our brand new beautiful 170 seater venue, Gina, in Barangaroo.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for SOUS CHEF and CHEF DE PARTIE to join our team to deliver high quality Italian cuisine. Controlling the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, utilizing your skills & experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that every section of the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency by planning, organizing and supervising .

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

Demonstrated experience in a fast paced restaurant

Display exemplary leadership and passion for Italian cuisine

Effective management and communication of diverse team

Experience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentation

Monitor and supervise OH&S standards and procedure

Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships

Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations

Excellent attention to detail

Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods

Calm and composed demeanor

Full availability, able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts

Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
