An exceptional project leadership opportunity is available for an experienced construction professional to step into the role of Project Director within a well established, high performing national Sub-Contractor. Known for delivering large-scale commercial hydraulic projects, this organisation prides itself on quality, safety and innovation.

As Project Director, you’ll oversee multiple large-scale plumbing projects from early planning through to delivery, with a strong focus on quality, profitability, safety, and client satisfaction.

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with senior management, commercial teams, and site leaders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard- on time, on budget, and with technical excellence. The role requires high-level oversight, commercial savvy, and the ability to inspire and manage teams across several concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project delivery, procurement, risk management and client relations.
• Participate in weekly operations team meeting & provide monthly reporting.
• Ensure principal and subcontract administration is contemporaneously maintained.
• Progress claims are prepared and checked according to Company requirements.
• Inspire and lead high-performing team of PMs, SM's, CAs, and site staff, building a positive workplace culture.
• Foster long-term partnerships and deliver exceptional service across commercial plumbing projects
• Support project governance, safety, and compliance processes

You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years in commercial plumbing, building services or built form construction with proven leadership in project management delivery.
• Experience in profit and loss, budgets, pricing and an excellent understanding of overall construction processes.
• Ability to deal with pressure, meet deadlines and enjoy challenges.
• Solid commercial acumen and financial literacy (Jobpac/Cost Reporting familiarity preferred).
• High self-esteem, assertiveness, influential, motivated, with empowering communication skills.
• Committed to WHS, quality standards, and exceptional client outcomes.
