About the Role:
Ascend Recruit is partnering with a well-established developer to source an experienced Development Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of residential and lifestyle community projects. Based in Brisbane this role will suit someone with strong project delivery, feasibility, and stakeholder management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from acquisition through to completion
• Conduct feasibility studies, financial modelling, and risk assessments
• Manage planning approvals and application processes
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and design teams
• Work closely with acquisitions, design, and construction teams
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership
• Ensure budget, timeline, and quality objectives are met
• Support development strategy and pipeline planning

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in property development, ideally residential or lifestyle sectors
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycles
• Solid understanding of QLD planning and approvals
• Strong financial acumen and modelling capabilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Property, Planning, Construction, or related field
