Ningaloo Bakehouse & Cafe is a country town bakery based in Exmouth, WA. Boasting a huge selection of award-winning pies, bread, pastries, sweets and coffee for our customers, we pride ourselves in producing exceptional quality products and customer service.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Bakers to lead our baking team in Exmouth, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and baking of high-quality pastries, baked goods and breads, as well as decorating cakes - according to menu specifications.

Attention to detail in bread and pastry preparation, excellent time management and capacity to work with our team to produce high-quality products.

Outstanding teamwork, time-management and communication skills.

Ensuring the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.

Managing food or ingredient inventory and ensure timely stock replenishment.

Collaboration with kitchen and pastry staff to deliver exceptional service.

Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including nights and weekend

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years full-time of professional experience as a Baker and Pastry Cook.

Problem-solving skills and an eye for detail

Strong knowledge of bread and pastry preparation, safety, and hygiene practices.

Excellent baking skills. This includes: mixing, kneading, shaping, scoring, and baking, operating the baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough divider, dough sheeter and prover.

Capacity to work professionally in a fast-paced environment.
