We're searching for a passionate Head Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping team at Mia Mia House in the Desert, located in the striking Pilbara town of Newman, WA.

You'll be hands-on, detail-driven and guest-focused—ensuring our rooms are always clean and welcoming. If you're a natural leader who loves a well-made bed, can spot a smudge from 20 paces, and thrives on building strong teams—this could be your next adventure!

Knows how to juggle rosters, stock, standards and smiles.

Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift throughout shift

Capable of moving housekeeping equipment and linen

Your Responsibilities:

Oversee and enhance daily housekeeping operations and accommodation standards.

Train and mentor and performance manage your team to deliver consistent high-quality service.

Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards are met by housekeeping team.

Monitor and control supplies and stock, manage laundry and linen systems.

Liaise with maintenance and front office to ensure a seamless guest experience, and resolve customer complaints.

Support rostering, induction and compliance tasks as part of the leadership team.

Perks & Benefits:

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

Experience:

3+ years in housekeeping, accommodation or hotel services management.

Relevant qualifications desirable (eg diploma of hotel or hospitality management)

Strong understanding of cleaning standards, systems and team supervision.
