Bunbury Farmers Market is recruiting for a hard-working Baker to join our team at our new Vasse Store! The position is full time on a 5 day roster including 1 day of the weekend, with 2 consecutive days off AND we are open to paying the Adult Rate (of the General Retail Award) for Mature Apprentices!

The Role

Production of a range of high-quality baked products.

Have a passion for fresh, great food that is made with love.

You are able to work at a fast pace while maintaining our high standards

Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed

Knowledge of commercial cooking equipment

Make sure that all food safety and product specifications are met

Maintain a clean and safe work area

A key element of this position is maintaining our company's high standards

Experience within a similar role within the food industry highly regarded

Mature apprentices should apply to develop their full potential in our thriving business

Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, OH&S and HACCP Food Safety systems highly regarded

A focus on freshness and the highest quality of food production

Qualifications:

Baking experience / qualifications are highly regarded: Including a keen interest in learning about baking

Must be able to work well in a team-based environment

Detail oriented - especially in ensuring the quality, freshness and visual appeal of our products

Must have excellent organisation and communication skills

Must be punctual, and self-motivated

Assist other departments as required

Contribute to business improvement process
