- Part-time (0.2 FTE, negotiable to 0.4FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for two years
- Base salary range: Level B, $113,934 – $134,824; Level C, $139,000 – $159,893 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The UWA Medical School is the largest and longest established medical school in Western Australia. It delivers a 4-year post-graduate MD course to local, national and international students. The School also has substantial and successful research programs across most disciplines in the medical sector.
About the opportunity
- Coordinating the longitudinal components of the program, ward simulation and the end of year placement block to support students to be as ready as possible for starting to work post-graduation
- Engagement and collaboration with academic colleagues and the wider medical profession
About you
- Medical degree & registration with AHPRA, or ability to be registered with AHPRA.
- Broad knowledge of current internship roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clinically-oriented teaching materials for senior medical students.
- Current employment in the public hospital system and experience in working with and around interns and junior doctors.
