The Marketing Assistant supports the delivery of day-to-day marketing activities and broader campaign implementation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, capable team and involved in a variety of tasks that build both technical and professional skills.

At BMT, this kind of behind-the-scenes support doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s essential.

How you’ll make it happen:

Managing and responding to requests in the Marketing inbox

Assisting with the distribution of email communications and newsletters

Coordinating logistics for mailouts and promotional materials by liaising with suppliers and couriers

Organising staff training sessions, including scheduling and communication

Supporting event preparation, including venue research, packing materials, and sourcing promotional items

Maintaining marketing systems, inventory, and digital records

Assisting with social media activities, particularly Instagram

Collecting data to support monthly reporting

Providing general administrative support across the team

About You

You’re organised, reliable, and take pride in making sure things run smoothly. You’ve likely worked in administration or a support role where attention to detail, follow-through, and clear communication have been key.

Now, you’re looking for a role that offers variety, professional development, and a pathway into marketing. Whether you’re building on recent studies or shifting into a new career direction, you’re ready to learn and contribute from day one.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in administration, office coordination or a similar support role

Strong time management and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Confidence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

An understanding of social media platforms and digital communications

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business (desirable but not essential)
