I am partnering with one of Australia’s most recognised loyalty and customer engagement businesses to appoint a strategic Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of new SME partnerships. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role driving new commercial partnerships across the SME sector.

The Role

As BDM, you will take the lead in identifying, pitching and closing major partnerships across SMEs, such as Retail, FMCG, Travel, Hospitality, Telco, and many more. This is a senior national remit focused on long-cycle, high-value deals (often worth $1M+) with strong visibility across the business.
You will be the face of the business in SME businesses, navigating senior stakeholders, shaping tailored commercial solutions, and building the value case for new partner integrations.

You’ll Bring

• Strong SME experience (e.g. retail, travel, hospitality, telco, banking, cards, fintech, insurance)
• Proven success in complex, high-value business development roles (at least 5+ years of experience in similar roles)
• Confidence in senior stakeholder management and commercial negotiation
• Strategic, self-starting mindset - you love creating opportunities, not waiting for them
• Loyalty or rewards experience a plus, but not required
