Purpose of the Position

Australian Dairy Park (ADP) is a subsidiary of Ausnutria Australia. ADP is a dairy business manufacturing formulated milk powders for infants, toddlers, and adults for domestic and overseas markets.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & container Operations:

Manage all daily operations of the warehouse and container yard, Being hands-on with regular day-to-day activities

Logistics & Freight: Coordinating with freight companies and managing container drop off/ loading /pick up to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as supply chain, logistics, and production, to coordinate and prioritize activities to meet business objectives.

Ensure pest control and cleanliness protocols are followed to protect quality.

Inventory Management:

Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory control, audits, cycle counting, and stock accuracy across warehouses.

ERP Utilization: Leveraging ERP systems to manage inventory, reporting, and overall warehouse performance.

ERP and WMS system debugging, working with production supervisor to complete/close work order ensure 2 systems data accuracy,

Machinery & Maintenance:

Work with maintenance team oversee regular servicing and repairs of warehouse machinery.

Schedule and document preventative maintenance in line with compliance and safety guidelines.

Staff & Scheduling:

Lead a small team of warehouse staff

Developing warehouse systems and procedures taking into consideration product and storage requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and delivery protocols

Process Implementation: Driving best practices, implementing new policies, and improving warehouse processes.

Attributes

· Proven experience in warehouse or operations management, preferably in dairy.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Practical understanding of inventory systems and scheduling tools.

· Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).

· Ability to lead and motivate a small team.

· Knowledge of safe work practices and pest control in agricultural storage environments.

· Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and systems.

Education and Experience

· proven experience (4+ years) as a Warehouse Leadership or a similar role in a fast-paced facility.

· Strong knowledge of warehousing best practices, inventory management, and distribution operations.

· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

· Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
