The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our busy Thornbury warehouse. In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory, dispatch, production scheduling, and team leadership. Your strong organisational skills and ability to manage workflows with the support of software platforms will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations including production, assembly, dispatch, and inventory control.
Manage and mentor a small team of warehouse and production staff, driving performance and safety.
Liaise with project and operations teams to plan and meet delivery and production deadlines.
Schedule and track manufacturing runs and job kitting for construction projects.
Implement and maintain efficient stock control and storage systems.
Use warehouse management software to plan production timelines, log stock movements, and ensure up-to-date inventory records.
Oversee incoming deliveries and outgoing freight, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Identify process improvements and drive warehouse efficiency.
Ensure OH&S compliance and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and consumables ordering.
About You
Proven experience in a warehouse manager, operations lead, or dispatch supervisor role.
Strong understanding of warehouse logistics, production support, and dispatch coordination.
Proficient in using inventory or warehouse management systems (e.g. DEAR, NetSuite, Unleashed, etc.) and confident in adopting new tech tools.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside your team when needed.
Forklift licence and full driver’s licence required.
Knowledge of construction products, aluminium/steel production, or manufacturing assembly is highly desirable.
