About the role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Hand to join our team at Plant Services Australia's nursery in Chambers Flat, QLD. As a Nursery Hand, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and maintenance of our diverse range of plants.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out general nursery duties such as watering, weeding, and potting plants

Assisting with the propagation and transplanting of seedlings and cuttings

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the nursery facility

Following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

A passion for horticulture and a keen interest in plant care

Some prior experience working in a nursery or similar horticultural environment

Minimum 6 months' experience in a commercial nursery or similar horticultural setting

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully

A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Physical fitness to lift up to 20kg and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver's licence and reliable own transport required due to location

Must have valid working rights in Australia
