About the role

Wharf Bar and Restaurant at Ballina is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Ballina, NSW 2478. This is a full-time position that will see you leading our front-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional customer service and dining experiences.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training

Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by monitoring service quality and resolving any issues that may arise

Implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability, such as menu optimisation and effective table management

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house

Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business and help drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Significant experience (1+ years) in a restaurant management role, preferably in a similar hospitality setting

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle challenges as they arise

Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and financial reporting

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a memorable dining experience
