About the Role

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our client base by securing new business and fostering strong partnerships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise clients across industries. Your focus will be on driving growth, deepening engagement, and strengthening Step123’s market presence.

While prior RTO experience is not essential, candidates with networks or experience in construction, facilities management, manufacturing, logistics, or hospitality will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and convert Tier 1–2 enterprise clients to grow revenue across key industry sectors.

Lead cold outreach campaigns to build a strong pipeline and secure qualified meetings.

Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — with a focus on long-term client success.

Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored training solutions aligned with client workforce needs.

Prepare and present compelling proposals and negotiate contracts with professionalism and confidence.

Represent Step123 at key industry events, forums, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales (B2B preferred).

Strong networks or prior experience in construction, facilities management, manufacturing, logistics, or hospitality.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Self-starter with strong commercial acumen and team collaboration skills.

Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar).

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
